"Investing in Senegal: stability and prospects
Oil & Gas for continued growth" was the theme
of the multi-sector mission organized by Africa
Development Club, CBAO Sénégal and Crédit du
Sénégal. This 39
th
mission supported by the Club
brought together no fewer than 200 business and
institutional leaders, including large delegations
from Mauritania, Mali, Egypt, Morocco, Côte
d'Ivoire and Gabon.
In 2024, the Africa Development Club and SCB
Cameroon launched SUFAWE (Stand Up for
African Women Entrepreneurs), a program to
support and promote women entrepreneurs
in the CEMAC (Central African Economic and
Monetary Community) zone. SUFAWE now has 800
members, who this year benef ited from two new
training courses.
On the sidelines of "FIAD24", the Attijariwafa bank
group has signed a memorandum of understanding
with the Secretariat of the African Continental Free
Trade Area (ZLECA) to accelerate the Continent's
economic integration. This MoU aims to facilitate
trade and investment in priority sectors such as
energy, agriculture, agriculture, agro-industry,
pharmaceuticals, transport, logistics and
infrastructure.
