multi-geographic presence:
• The Group's Corporate Finance teams have
supported several major transactions in Morocco
and internationally. Notable transactions include
M&A deals (sale of Sopriam to Stellantis,
acquisition of Lydec, creation of a joint venture
between INWI and IDEMIA), equity market
transactions (IPO of CMGP, capital increase for
Managem, public of fering for Crédit du Maroc)
and debt market transactions (bond issues for
Attijariwafa bank and Wafasalaf).
• In 2024, the Group's Corporate Finance division
structured and arranged several high-impact
strategic transactions, including the f inancing
of major infrastructure projects such as the
Casa-Settat desalination plant, the Dakhla wind
farm, and the Al Wahda gas-f ired power plant.
It also supported large-scale industrial and
mining projects in sub-Saharan Africa, thereby
consolidating its key role in f inancing regional
development.
• The Custody Group continued the strategic
development of its securities business,
strengthening its ties with local and international
institutional investors. Thanks to a range of
personalized services backed by a certif ied
system (ISO 9001 and ISAE 3402 Type I and II),
it has consolidated its role as a leading player,
with more than MAD 750 billion in assets under
custody. Its ef forts have also helped attract new
customers and support the expansion of the
Groups institutional portfolio
In 2024 Attijari Finances Corp the investment
bank of the Attijariwafa bank group continued
its mission to support economic players by
strengthening its position across all corporate
f inance business lines. The year was marked by
the structuring and completion of several major
transactions, including mergers and acquisitions,
equity markets, and debt markets. The teams also
continued to capitalize on their regional presence
(West Africa, Tunisia, Middle East) to support
customers in international projects.
The year 2024 conf irmed the central role of the
Attijariwafa bank group in the development of
capital markets and f inancial infrastructure, both
nationally and continentally. A leading player in the
bond and private debt segments,
the Group has established itself as a strategic
partner for sovereign and corporate issuers,
recognized for its expertise in originating,
structuring, and placing major transactions.
In line with this approach, the Group has continued
its ef forts to broaden access to capital markets
through targeted awareness-raising initiatives.
For example, the annual “Market Days” seminar
brought together institutional customers to
discuss major f inancial trends, while innovative
formats, such as educational escape games and
specialized webinars, were introduced to help
companies better understand market issues.
