The Attijariwafa bank group is continuing its
commitment to f inancial inclusion for young
people by stepping up the promotion of L'bankalik,
its 100% digital banking of fer, which is free
for 18–35-year-olds. Accessible, simple, and
innovative, this solution aims to support young
people in managing their f inancial lives, with a
fully online subscription process.
To consolidate its proximity to this target
audience, in 2024 the Group launched the f irst
League of Legends bank card in the Middle East &
Africa region, in partnership with Riot Games and
Mastercard, of fering exclusive benef its to video
game enthusiasts. As part of this initiative, the
Group organized a national gaming tournament,
L'bankaleague, which attracted more than 10,000
players from across the Kingdom's 12 regions
around the game League of Legends. The event
brought together a large community while raising
awareness of L'bankalik in the world of e-sports.
This strategy was supported by a stronger
presence on the ground and ongoing digital
communication.
The proximity to the young target audience was
also evident on the ground, with two waves of the
L'bankalik caravan traveling across Morocco and
stopping at 360 locations throughout the kingdom
(universities, schools, vocational training centers,
etc.).
